This place is an institution and is now run by an amazing guy named Andy. He’s so kind, helpful and skilled. I’ve framed a ton of stuff here - paintings, large scale photos, vintage quilts and other physical objects in shadowboxes. It all comes out beautiful - gallery-quality, every time. The people who work here are artists themselves, so they understand not just the importance of a well crafted frame, but also colour, balance, style. So, if you are’t exactly sure how you want to frame something, they’re full of ideas and will work through it with you to find the best option. The prices are totally fair for the gallery-quality work they do.
The only downside of Allen Gallery Framing, is that I’m not totally addicted to framing things now :)
